Last week, the nanoSCAN consortium came together in Milan to look back on the milestones achieved in the previous months and shape the roadmap for the project’s final year. Hosted at Politecnico di Milano, right next to the Institute for Photonics and Nanotechnologies (CNR-IFN), the meeting offered participants a unique chance to tour the labs and dive deeper into discussions on the chips the day before the main event. 

The full-day meeting on 19 September was not only a moment to reflect on progress across all work packages but also a valuable opportunity to exchange on technical challenges, explore new ideas, and outline business and exploitation strategies for the remainder of the project and beyond. 

With our new goals set, we look ahead to the next milestones on our path.
